Bridging Communities Event
This is an open invitation from Mary Gloria, President of Pan de Vida Foundation. It is this Saturday and there is more information below under the posts with Little Mexico in the title. Here is a map.
Arline and I plan to attend and help with Little Mexico building a Block Watch. We asked to have GRIP (Graffiti Removal program) come out to take down the graffiti (there was a lot). And that happened this week. But there is more on private property which the owners need to sign for GRIP to come on their property. The county will be providing those this Saturday and maybe we can get the whole area graffiti free.
We hope to see you there as we start to “Bridge Communities”.
A reminder to come have pizza, snow cones and cotton Candy at Pan de Vida’s “Bridging Communities” in Little Mexico!
Hear the XS Band play great music, and chew the fat with the folks of the community. The event starts at 2:00 pm.
Don’t miss out on making memories with family and friends.
The first event, “Bridging Communities” is an effort to build relationship with
the Little Mexico community. The second is to help clean the neighborhood.
We don’t have directions to a particular place. But, from the corner; of Gantzel and Combs roads,
(Frys’ shopping center) drive east on combs rd until you get to Schnept rd. (about 2 miles) turn right
onto Schnept and drive about another two miles around the bend ,keep going until you get to
Camino Largo, (mile and a half). From Camino Largo, next to Fatman’s Pizza place we will have signs
for you to follow into the community.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend,
Mary Gloria
